Objective
This project was the culimation of a number of collaborations: renowned NYC-based choreographer/director Akira Uchida with the brilliant music of Altrice and fashion of Private Policy NYC. The Clyfford Still Museum is an icon of art and culture in Denver, and we are supremely grateful to have been allowed the exclusive access and time in the space as a backdrop to the moving choreography and visual story of "STILL".
Key Points
- A large part of the pre-produciton process included working with museum curators to pair specific paintings with sections of choreography that complimented each other
- We obtained unprecedented special permission to utilize a Fisher camera dolly in the museum to achieve ultra smooth and flowing shots to stylistically match the choreography
- This film has accumulated nearly 1M impressions across NOWNESS platforms and other posts
